Saltwater Pulse started life as a printed Outdoors Newspaper called ‘The Gillwetter’. It was published and distributed throughout the coastal areas of southeastern North Carolina. I also published a network of eZine style saltwater fishing websites for the saltwater enthusiast featuring monthly eZine covers, local Captains’ fishing reports, photos, videos, charter boat listings and more. Saltwater Pulse has since morphed to include a informational source for Business Owners, Captains’ of Fishing Charters, Guides and other Outdoor Services to get ‘How To’ online marketing and business information. Everyone asks about SEO, more specifically “How do I get to be number 1 in Google?”. My simple answer is, it takes time and effort. In the last couple years SEO, Search Engine Optimization, has gotten more technical and in the same sentence I can say, not much has changed since 1998. Today with the massive amount of regurgitated information on the great WWW it’s to easy to get completely overwhelmed with who to listen to. Our information comes from years of in the trench experience. So stick around, bookmark our website. Feel free to check out our pages. I’ll do what I can to share real world details on what might and might not work locally in your area.

eZine Marketing Strategies
Historically we marketed monthly eZine covers for 3 of our localized fishing websites for many years. Using photos from catches found in our local Captains fishing reports and photo galleries we created an eZine to promote our Captains businesses and our Charter Fishing Website Designs, WordPress Website Development Services, and our Search Engine Optimization Services.
